Howard began as a commercial appraiser, with projects ranging from the Bank of America tower in downtown San Francisco, to marinas, hospitals and to-be developed housing tracts. As his life-long passion has been architecture, in the 1990's he pivoted his work to residential and small mixed-use properties. His residential work has included consulates, an Octagon house, and a San Francisco single family home valued over $45,000,000.
